Software is becoming more and more prevalent in everything we do, and despite it’s overhyped but lacluster beginnings, at home manufacturing is still growing, so knowing how to use CAD and 3D design software is a huge plus. A 3D printer isn’t very useful yet, but it definitely has benefits, and knowing how to build things in 3D can give you an advantage in the future.
